Quinn, The Mermaid

This little mermaid found some tiny shells just her size! Seated, she is three and one half inches tall. Together with her faux rock, the entire height is six inches. Quinn is fully sculpted from Fimo Puppen over a wire armature. No molds were used and none taken from her: she is truly one of a kind. Each scale of her mermaid tail was hand sculpted, and shines pearlescent greenish blue. Her eyes were sculpted around painted glass and inserted during sculpting. I used Genesis heat set paints for her features and to bring out shading and texture on her skin. Her beautiful hair is very fine mohair. Quinn wears touches of dried moss to look like seaweed, microbeads and glitter. She is removable from the faux rock. Art dolls are not suitable for young children
