Cari~ and the Fairy Boat

Why fly when you can sail?
Cari loves her little leaf boat and has made many friends traveling near and far. Somewhere in her travels she has acquired a couple of crew members--red eyed tree frogs--who help with steering and staying on course.
Cari is OOAK--one of a kind--completely hand sculpted from Fimo Puppen, as are the tree frogs. Her pretty wind-blown hair is mohair, and her wings are made from vellum. No molds were used, and no molds have been taken from her. Her clothing is made from various fabric, and the little bag she wears at her waist is made from paper clay and painted to look like real leather.

The Fairy Boat is hand made from silk leaves, paper clay, floral wire, fine acrylics, a few real sticks used for the mast and boom, purchased from floral design so that they are "clean."
The bottom of the boat has been covered with felt for display on wood surfaces. It has a silk petal flag proudly flying high on the mast.
