SOLD to Minnesota Cupid has a helper. Bo is a Valentine fairy, always on the lookout for someone who needs a little love in their life. When she finds someone, she showers him or her with magic from her wand to send them on the right path...
The name Bo means precious and commanding, both of which a fairy of her special station should be. If she was standing, she would be about seven and a half inches tall.
She was fully sculpted from Fimo Puppen on a wire armature, and no molds were used, no molds have been taken from her. She is OOAK.
I sculpted and painted her eyes, which are separate and then inserted during sculpting of the head. Bo's features have been painted using Genesis paints and fine acrylics. Her eyelashes were applied one by one. Her beautiful hair is mohair.
Her dress is made from glistening ribbon, lace, gorgeous fine trim, and a small red jewel on her bodice.
The wand is hand made using wire and a variety of beads. The large main bead is an aurora borealis glass Czech bead.
Her head piece is antique brass.
Bo's graceful wings are made of vellum, pearlescent powder, wire, and each one has three small swarovski crystals on its wing spots.
Bo sits upon a base hand sculpted from paper clay. I used acrylics to make it realistic so that it looks like a gnarled old stump covered with moss and ferns, and a tiny bit of glitter for mystery.
She is removable from the stump base, and will be packed separately in the same box.
